Why do people feel the need to lie to me? I hate liars. I hate when people lie to me, especially if they are one of my friends. I can't stand it. I hate them. The lies and the people who lie.

If they were really my friends they wouldn't feel the need to lie to me and they would tell me the truth. They need to really find out what being a friend is all about. Then they wouldn't lie to me. But until then, I don't want to talk or even be around those liars.

Countdown - Reveal

Today is the beginning of July and is also the beginning of the countdown to the reveal.

What being revealed? My site and business.

How many days are left in the countdown? I don't know. I can't be bothered to actually create a timetable for it because I have lots of things to do/take care of and creating a timetable isn't one of them.

How awesome will this be? Very awesome I tell you. Awesome to the extreme. Hopefully everybody will love it and I can make some money with it. If not, well crap.

May Closes It All Down

So it's the end of May now, and I haven't updated you fine folks here about some things. I'm currently working on getting my business up and going. Expect to see a link to it sometime soon. Already bought the domain, did that earlier today, just looking for server hosting right now. Which is the hard part. Which ones will suit the needs of the business for the next year or so. If you know of any good ones, let me know, I'll be more then willing to check them out.

Q3 - Junk Mail Express (One Way Ticket)

We all get hordes of junk mail each year. Wasting all kinds of paper and time. It's such a waste. Really it is. You would think that company's would find a better use of their money then sending out junk mail. Way to waste company resources.

But in the end, we all waste our very own personal resources. Sometimes it's time, we just waste it doing nothing. Sometimes it's our money, we waste it buying clothes we don't need, or technology we don't need. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against technology, I like technology a lot, but I don't see a need to upgrade your stuff all the time like so many American's do. But I'm pretty sure that it's not just American's that do that, I'm willing to bet that the entire world has this problem, well the parts of the world that have technology that is easy to get/upgrade.

I've always been about not wasting my personal resources. I only spend money when I need to. I don't go out buying the newest clothing style, or newest computer/phone/TV/DVD player/gaming system. Now, I wouldn't mind having a Wii, Xbox360 or a PS3, I could spend hours having fun on those things, but since I don't game as much as I use to, I don't see the need to buy them. Yeah they are cool, but having cool items that you don't use is pretty pointless. And in fact is a waste of money.

But don't take this as the same as me saying I'm cheap, because I'm not. If I need something, I'm not afraid to spend the money I need to spend in order to get what I need. I just don't place my needs on things that money can buy. Money is cool and all, but it causes more problems then it solves in the end.

I tend to enjoy using my personal resource of time to develop good relationships with my friends and other people who can become my friend.

To me, I think that's something that needs to be taught more by the Church. So many people can go to a building called a church every week for years but never have friends. What good is it if you learn about God and His majestic Love & Grace if you can't pour out some of that Love & Grace that has been given to you onto others? Because I think, that if you learn all about Heaven but haven't learned how to be a friend, then how can you know if you truly love people or not?

As for the question(s) today, here goes: What personal resource of your's is being wasted by things this world says to do/buy? Are you willing to change? And better yet, when will you change?

Q2 - Stories That Go Unanswered

So my favorite author, Terry Goodkind, has an awesome book series called "Sword of Truth". I've been reading this series since 1998. Dang, 10 years now, woo. And to think he's been writing them since 1994 I do believe. But anyway, back to the point. The first book in the series is titles Wizard's First Rule. It's awesome. I love each of the books, because they are totally awesome. Check them out if you haven't read them. Oh, but again, back to the point. WFR (Wizard's First Rule for you noobs out there) is going to be made into a TV show. Well, season 1 will be about WFR and they should after that follow each book by the season. Which I think it totally awesome. This was talked about on Terry's web-site early last year, or maybe earlier I can't remember. Well, it's more official now then it was back then. It's still not 100% official because the production company (the company giving money to make it) can decide to cancel it at any time. Which we (Terry's fans) hope that doesn't happen. Check out here to visit the news page on Terry's site - here . Also, the person who is directing WFR is none other then Sam Raimi (Spider-Man 1, 2, & 3; Army Of Darkness; Evil Dead 1 & 2; IMDB page). So it's safe to say, that this should be a very good TV show. I can't wait for it to come out.

Which now brings me to the point of this blog. The question(s). If you had the choice of any book out there, or any story for that matter, that could be made into a movie/mini-series/TV show, what would it be and why? Also, if you could choose any Biblical book/story to be made into a movie/mini-series/TV show (besides the story of Moses, Noah, and Jesus as there are already movies/mini-series about them), what would you like to see and why?

See, this has a double side to it. I plan on making a Biblical short movie/mini-series (all depending on the story I pick) sometime in the future. I'm leading towards either the story of Elijah or maybe one that is about the entire book of Judges. Both of which I think would be good stories to do. Both of which I like to read about. Which is why I choose them out of all the stories in the Bible.

So, spill your guts people.

Q1 - Righteous Man

So, following in the footsteps of Petie and T-Whalen , I have decided to do this question a day thing. So here goes. Q1.

So I've had this song stuck in my head for the past day and a half now, it is Disciple's song called Crawl Away. (Click here for lyrics or here for the song [ which the song will only be up for a week at most]). The part of the song that sticks with me the most is a line from the chorus, "I confess that I'm less than a righteous man". It's true.

Which brings me to the question(s). What makes somebody a righteous man/woman? Would you consider yourself a righteous man? If so, why? If not, why?

The New Era

So on Saturday February 9, 2008 (after 8 long and awesome years) one of my favorite bands is no more. That band is The 7 Method. But I'm not sad. Why? Because they didn't break up. No, they have just changed names. Awesome I think. They are now known as The Ascendicate. Check out their myspace page to hear some of the awesome music they have. The 7 Method's Myspace; The Ascendicate's Myspace. I love these guys. Their music speaks to me so much. Later I might go more in detail about all that. But I'm just happy that one of my favorite bands didn't break up. Like I said, I love these guys. They totally rock.

Clients and Other Workings

So since I'm getting my Film Making Certificate at BCTC, Arthur asked if anybody in the class would be willing to create a blog for the class and update it as needed. Being a web-designer myself, and the fact that nobody else volunteered, I said I would do it. Feel free to look it up and let me know what you think. It's not the impressive right now, but I'm slowly working on it when I get the free time. Click here to see the site. I also, decided to use WordPress to make it instead of using BlogSpot. Don't get me wrong, I like BlogSpot, but I think WordPress is far better for the needs of the site/blog for the class.

Other then that, I'm slowly working on building up the company that Scott and I own. Scary thought when you think about it. But it's all good. Maybe one day we will get real big and then it will be funny to look back at this post.

Kyle is back home after spending almost a year in Japan. He got back home on Feb 2. I can't wait to hear all the cool things he did while over there. I know he enjoyed it.

Questions

So as I was reading (well it should say, as I have been reading) the book of Numbers, I've ran into a few questions that seem to be filling my mind right now.

1 - Why isn't the Tribe of Levi counted in the number of tribes of Israel? Because if you count all of the tribes there are 13 (that's including Levi), so otherwise there's only 12. There is Asher, Dan, Naphtali, Issachar, Judah, Zebulun, Simeon, Reuben, Gad, Manasseh, Ephraim and Benjamin as the 12. Why isn't it 13? I know the Levi's were set apart/aside to be the Priests, but I don't understand/see why Levi isn't considered a tribe and therefore creating 13 tribes of Israel not 12.

2 - How did the descendants of Anak (and the Nephilim in general) survive the flood if everything was destroyed? Numbers 13 the descendants of Anak are talked about, and according to my foot notes, the Nephilim lived on the Earth before the flood (Genesis 6:4, yeah, I know you know where it's at in the Bible, but wanted put it in there anyway. Also, could the descentants of Anak/the Nephilim still be alive today? Could that explain why we have people who are over 7 feet tall? I think so.

Really I don't know if any of my readers will know the answer to these questions, but that's ok. Any thoughts on the matter of each question, or resources that will help me to find/understand the answers to these questions are equally desired.

Fizzled Out

What makes one fizzed out? What makes one lose desire to keep dreaming? I say one reason, among many, is the lack of seeing the dreams coming to be. Or maybe it's just the fact that one may need some time away from all the stuff that stresses said person out. Whether that means leaving the state or leaving the country.

Yes, said person is me. I need some time away. Away from this place and see other parts of this world. I need to find/see what all I enjoy. I need time to recharge my "batteries" so that I may be able to enjoy stuff better.

I don't know what I enjoy anymore. I keep searching but I don't enjoy much of anything. I don't know why.

The Weapon London is Afraid Of

Another interesting article found on the FoxNews website. For the article look here. This is totally funny and great. A geeks dream. Two guys who worked for LEGO, who left to work for an independent robotic firm wrote a book called "Forbidden LEGO: Build the Models Your Parents Warned You Against". The title says it all. I think it's great. In it they show/teach you how to build a working gun that shoots LEGOs out of it. Also it teaches you how to build a catapult. Which is just freaking awesome. I'm half tempted myself to buy this book just to build one of these things. But I think I can find more interesting and fun things to fill my time with.

Other things you can make are "a high voltage LEGO vehicle, a continuous-fire ping-pong ball launcher". All totally useless but fun for all the geeks in the word to make.

American's have bought this book like crazy since it was released back in August 2007. However, in England (or more importantly London) people are saying this book is full of things that threaten society. That's just going too far. I don't think it threatens society at all. They are just toys that adults put a spin on for the geek inside all of us.

Funny or Offensive

So while looking on FoxNews website, I found an article about a company in Seattle that is, get this, selling a reservation for a spot in Heaven. Yeah, can you believe that crap. Here's the link to the article on FoxNews website (click here). Here's the link to Reserve A Spot In Heaven website.

I'm annoyed and confused as to what to say. In the article, the owner of the site said he just means it all as a gag gift and nothing else, he even claims to believe in God and was raised a Baptist. He claims "We [the business] don't affiliate our site with any gods or Buddha or anything like that — I made it a point not to do that" and he also said "I believe in God; I'm not an atheist or a crazy Goth."

But I find it hard to believe and see. To me this just spits in the face of Jesus dying on the cross for my sins and your sins. I don't see how it could be funny at all. Maybe it's just me. Maybe it's not. I just don't see how they could have done this. I have a weird sense of humor, just as my close friends, but even I don't even find this funny.

Starting New
